How to Reconnect Your Eddi or Zappi to WiFi

If your Eddi or Zappi (MyEnergi device) is showing as offline, follow the steps below to reconnect it to your WiFi network.

This is commonly needed after:

  • Changing your broadband provider
  • Updating your WiFi name (SSID)
  • Changing your WiFi password
  • A prolonged power cut

Step-by-Step Reconnection

1. Check Your Router

  • Make sure your router is powered on and working.
  • Confirm you have internet access on your phone.

2. Access the Device Menu

On your Eddi or Zappi screen:

  • Press the Menu button
  • Scroll to Advanced Settings
  • Enter the PIN code

(Default PIN is usually 0000 unless it has been changed.)

3. Open WiFi Settings

  • Go to Internet or WiFi settings
  • Select Scan for Networks
  • Choose your WiFi network from the list

4. Enter WiFi Password

  • Carefully enter your WiFi password
  • Confirm and save

The device should attempt to reconnect. This may take a few minutes.

If It Still Won’t Connect

Check:

  • You are connecting to a 2.4GHz network (these devices do not support 5GHz only networks)
  • Your WiFi signal is strong near the device
  • Your password has been entered correctly
