If your solar system is showing as offline, it’s usually caused by one of the following:
1. Grid Instability
If the electricity grid is unstable or temporarily down, your system may disconnect for safety reasons.
In most cases, it will reconnect automatically once the grid supply stabilises.
What to do:
- Check if there has been a local power outage.
- Wait 10–15 minutes to see if the system reconnects.
2. WiFi Connection Issue
Your monitoring system relies on WiFi to report data. If your broadband drops or becomes unstable, the system may appear offline.
What to do:
- Check your router is powered on and connected to the internet.
- Restart your router.
- Allow a few minutes for the system to reconnect.
3. Recently Changed WiFi?
If you’ve changed your WiFi network name or password, the solar system will need to be reconnected manually.
In this case, it won’t reconnect automatically.
