How Much Grant Can You Get for Commercial Businesses and Non-Domestic Buildings?

The grant amount is determined by the output capacity of your solar PV system, measured in kilowatt peak (kWp), with funding available for systems up to a maximum of 1000kWp.

The grant provided under this scheme is scaled according to the size of the solar system installed, ensuring businesses of all sizes can benefit. Here's a breakdown of the grant values for various system sizes:

  • 1kWp: €900
  • 2kWp: €1,800
  • 3kWp: €2,100
  • 4kWp: €2,400
  • 5kWp - 6kWp: €2,400 (flat rate for each size)
  • 7kWp – 20kWp: €300 per kWp
  • 21kWp – 200kWp: €200 per kWp
  • 201kWp – 1000kWp: €150 per kWp

For instance, installing a 30kWp solar system could qualify you for a grant of €8,600, while a larger installation of 500kWp might secure a grant of €87,600.

The maximum grant offering, for systems ranging from 1kWp up to 1000kWp, caps at €162,600, providing substantial support for larger installations.
